Amnon Agami

Moshe's father, born in 1926 - Kibbutz Ein Harod.

Amnon was an athlete who stood out in gymnastics and as a lightweight boxer.
In his youth, Amnon was chosen at the same time as his high school studies to work in the kibbutz's blacksmith shop, making wooden wheels and metal rims for carriages, Hard work and a forge that he was proud of at that time.


At the end of high school, he volunteered for the Jewish Brigade and fought in Europe against the Nazis and after the World War participated in the defense of the country and of course in the War of Independence.
 

Later, when he left the kibbutz with his heart's choice - (Dina née Trifon) was accepted to work at Institute 3 (today called Raphael) as an engraver.


Later, Amnon was one of the first employees in Bishkar when it was founded by Stef Wertheimer and was appointed by Stef to be the first teacher at the Tzur Nahariya school - a school for practical mechanics including engraving, milling, grinding and frames.


At the same time, over the years he established a machining workshop and provided solutions to factories such as Iskar, Lahavim Technologies, Vargus and Dimer, over the years Moshe (the son) joined the work for chapters alongside him.


In the last years of his work, using his special technical senses, he made complicated templates for bending airplane blades for "Blade Technologies", Amnon was the only supplier who agreed and managed to face the challenge for more than a decade.


At the age of 86, he retired when a highly sophisticated robot purchased by the client was able to compete and replace Amnon's handiwork.
